Embarking on a monumental project in West Vancouver, we undertook the ambitious task of reshaping the natural terrain to craft a series of cedar decks, stairs, gazebo, railings and landscaped landings that gracefully descend from the cliff to the ocean below. The landscape transformation was profound, as multiple decks, artfully designed landings, and sturdy rock walls were strategically integrated to form a series of terraces. Connected by well-crafted stairways, this architectural feat not only redefined the slope but also seamlessly guided the journey from the elevated residence to the tranquil waterfront. The result is a harmonious interplay between the built environment and the rugged beauty of the natural landscape, providing both aesthetic appeal and functional accessibility in this stunning coastal setting.
